About This Project

About This Project
Just the facts without the spin

This website serves as a public-facing, evidence-based archive documenting the public record of LaPorte County, Indiana Commissioner Connie Gramarossa (District 1) during her term in office, which began in January 2023. The content is presented in a factual, non-opinionated, and chronological format, with all claims supported by primary source documents, official reports, and local news coverage.

The purpose of this project is to provide a centralized, accessible, and well-documented resource for citizens and voters to better understand the significant events that have defined Commissioner Gramarossa's tenure. In an environment where local media coverage can be fragmented, this site aims to present a comprehensive and impartial record, allowing visitors to review the evidence for themselves and draw their own informed conclusions.

Each of the following chapters details a specific controversy or legal matter, presented with direct citations to the public record. We believe that a well-informed electorate is essential to a functioning democracy, and that public officials must be accountable to the citizens they serve. This project is an exercise in civic journalism, intended to educate, not to persuade.
